Dog Photography Commissions in Cumbria
Natural Light Portraits: Photography by Frankie
My dog photography private commissions in Cumbria and beyond are tailored to location, but the experience remains seamless no matter the setting. Begin by choosing a location where your dog will feel most at ease, then consider the aesthetic you envision for the final artwork.

Step-by-Step: What to Expect from Your Dog's Portrait Session
Portrait sessions follow the same simple four-step process:
-
Book a complimentary chat - get in touch and let me learn a little more about your dog. Be sure to let me know a good time to call to discuss your ideas in more detail.
I will then contact you via phone to ask you all about yourself, your dog, any preferred location(s), dates / timeframe, and anything else you have questions about! Any important session and product information will be forwarded to you following this chat, including an investment guide for additional print or wall art purchases.
-
Let’s make some memories! We’ll meet for your portrait session at the agreed location and time, where I will give a safety briefing and then get to work on the shoot. Afterwards, I will start working on post-production and retouching, creating a collection of images for you to choose your special memories from.
-
Your gallery reveal session will take place either: at mine or your home, or on video call, around 2-3 weeks later but a date for this will be set at the portrait session itself. This is when you will see a final gallery from your shoot and choose your images to create some prints or wall art. You get to view sample products of all our offerings and ask as many questions as you like!
-
Depending on the final product(s) selected, your prints or wall art will be prepared and sent for production. If you have selected any digital images, they will be prepared, formatted and sorted accordingly at this stage too. Once your prints, wall art and/or digital images are ready, they are inspected very thoroughly before being delivered to your own home - or directly into your own hands if you opt to collect!

FAQs
-
Frankie has photographed up to 4 dogs together from the same household and had amazing results! However, please be aware that photographing multiple dogs in the same session often requires additional time and help. She is always happy to discuss this during a consultation call and offer you the best advice accordingly for your session in Cumbria or elsewhere. Please note, for planning arrangements, the exact number of dogs must be specified at the time of booking the shoot.
-
Frankie’s pricing reflects her time, skill-level and and bespoke nature of her work. Carefully curated packages are on offer to help provide something for everybody, and she’s received nothing but positive feedback from clients who have purchased images and wall art from her in the past.
No costs are hidden - you can request a full product and pricing guide prior to any booking commitments and decide if she is the right photographer for you. -
Many of Frankie’s past clients enjoy returning 2-3 weeks after their portrait session to view the final gallery and discuss potential products. During the Image Reveal Appointment, you can explore printed options, such as wall art, and receive professional advice on how the finished images will look. While there is no obligation to purchase, you can choose from available collections, including print boxes and wall art. Image Reveal Sessions are available at Frankie’s home or yours, depending on what works best for you. Sometimes they take place at Frankie’s home in Cumbria, your house, or virtually via Zoom if you are from further afield.
-
Frankie has captured some of her most successful images on client shoots in Hong Kong, showing that anything is possible if you are happy for her to enter images from your session into awards, that is!
